The BTMUA is looking for qualified contractors to bid on repair/maintenance services on an as needed basis to the water distribution system and wastewater collection system. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq., contractors on projects for public work shall adhere to all requirements of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act. Public Works Contractor Registration Act N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. requires that a general or prime contractor and any listed subcontractors named in the contractor’s bid proposal shall possess a certificate at the time the bid proposal is submitted.
